Why you should know this
A transfer can look instant on one screen while several records, fees and checks sit underneath. Mapping the full journey helps prevent wrong-network, hidden-cost and recovery mistakes.
Follow the asset and the records

A useful transfer map has five parts: asset, recordkeeper, rail, cost and recovery.
The asset may remain pesos, or it may be converted. The recordkeeper may change from a bank to an e-money issuer or crypto network. The rail is the route used to send the instruction and settle value.
Conversion creates another step
Moving from pesos to crypto is not merely transferring the same balance. A conversion exchanges one asset for another at a quoted rate.
The full cost can include a visible fee, a price spread, a network fee and another conversion later. Timing also matters because a market price can move between steps.
A familiar example

Maria starts with yen, wants her family to receive usable pesos and considers a route involving a stablecoin. She maps yen funding, conversion, crypto transfer, conversion to pesos and final withdrawal. Each step has its own operator and possible delay.
One limit to remember
A completed step does not prove the whole journey is complete. A blockchain confirmation, provider credit and recipient withdrawal are separate events.
How this connects to market mastery
Later execution and remittance analysis use the same habit: draw the full path, then measure every cost, dependency and failure point.
Quick check — no money needed

Sketch a familiar transfer. Label the asset, recordkeeper, rail, cost and recovery contact at each step.
If you can answer that clearly, this lesson is complete.
